Negotiating Your Disability Claim Settlement

There are many options for resolving your long term disability claim both before and after litigation has commenced.  There are two basic types of settlement, payment of benefits on a monthly basis and a buy out of the claim, but there are many potential variations of those settlements.   Although less frequent, the period of a Social Security claim may be negotiated at the hearing stage with the Administrative Law Judge (“ALJ”).

A favorable settlement is dependent on the insurance company or the ALJ recognizing that your claim has been thoroughly prepared and will be vigorously litigated if needed.  Our firm will take great pains to gather the necessary medical and vocational evidence enabling us to present your best legal and factual arguments in order to maximize your benefit recovery.  We have a great deal of experience in negotiating disability claims and the benefits that are dependent upon them, such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance and pension benefits.  Nobody will pursue your claim with greater intensity than our law firm.
